Week 1: The fundamentals (8 lessons)
Week one is all about understanding the necessary fundamental knowledge and skills. You will learn all background about the harmonium itself. You will learn the correct technique for the left, the right hand and the bellows.
Week 2: The main notes and intervals (9 lessons)
Learn the notes and the important intervals: octaves, fifths and thirds. This is essential knowledge for next week, the chords.
Week 3: Chords and inversions (12 lessons)
Learn to play all major and minor chords and learn how to connect the chords in a song.
Week 4: Ragas & scales (9 lessons)
Learn to understand some other very important elements in music. Ragas which comes from the Indian music System. Scales which are coming from the Western music system.
Week 5: Mantras and bhajans (9 lessons)

What if I don't have a harmonium yet? Can I start the program without having a harmonium?
Yes! You can start the course without owning a harmonium yet. In the program you will learn a lot about the construction of the harmonium, different types of the harmonium and advice on buying a new harmonium. This will help you a lot to purchase the best harmonium available for your budget. Students of the course are also helped and assisted when they want to purchase a harmonium. If you are in the situation of needing to purchase a new harmonium, best is to first take the first chapter of the course and then get in touch by email for further advise "[email protected]".
You can complete this program also on a little keyboard or digital piano if you don't have a harmonium just yet.
